Setareh Ghandehari, advocacy director at Detention Watch Network, says private prison companies have an \u201cintricate\u201d relationship with ICE<\/span>. \u201cIt\u2019s really a revolving door,\u201d she says, pointing out that Venturella worked for ICE<\/span> under Presidents Bush and Obama, then went to GEO<\/span> Group before this latest appointment by President Trump. \u201cIt\u2019s really hard to see where the interests of ICE<\/span> end and those of private prison companies begin,\u201d says Ghandehari.<\/p>\n
